I have been reading tarot for myself and for friends and family in my life for nearly five years, although tarot has always been a part of my life. My mother was the first to read my cards as a teenager. I grew up in a house of altars, wonder, and exploration. Once I began to practice for myself, I gradually started reading for more people, relative-strangers—people I met at parties or cafes, friends of friends, coworkers.

There are a lot of misconceptions around tarot. Maybe you share these—tarot seems ominous, maybe even evil. While there are certainly tropes of challenges and despair in the traditional tarot deck, just as with the human experience, there are so many other aspects that make up the whole. I guarantee that any reading with me is going to feel safe, grounded, and inspiring.

These aren’t fortune telling sessions. I’m not psychic. I call what I do collaborative, interpretive reading. In this setting, the “rules” of tarot are second to what we discover in the cards’ imagery together, what visual narrative we see unfold in the cards and, in turn, in your own life.

I have carefully selected multiple decks for you to choose from for your reading that include decks with animals, no religious imagery, queer representation, and more. My only goal for our readings is for you to feel seen, fully, for who you are. And being able to select a deck that you connect with is essential to these intuitive readings. Know that my library of available decks will only continue to expand over time (see! a business expense! totally not just an excuse to buy more decks!), but please feel free to suggest one, or bring your own!
