Running Log 03/08/19

4.12 miles 39:10 09:30 West Ashley Sunny, 70° Brooks Ravenna 10

I was really excited for this run, even though I had to run in West Ashley (which, as I’ve mentioned before, is perhaps the least runner-friendly place). I haven’t run more than three miles at once since my marathon a little less than two months ago, and have been ready and looking forward to upping my milage a little bit. I’m trying run fifteen miles a week, which, to be honest, I’m not sure will happen this week. I had a cold the end of last week/beginning of this week, and had to prioritize some rest. But that’s fine by me–I’m really satisfied with the runs I have gone on thus far.

My last run was a pace-breaker, and I got a PR in my two-mile time. My run today wasn’t quite as fast, which is fine, but it was nice to go on a little bit longer run, especially after the long week that I had. And the weather was so nice. I wore my Brooks, which I like more and more every time I run in them. Still haven’t figured out if I like them more than my Nikes, but I think that’s fine.

All in all, not a lot to report this run. Had a good run, and am looking forward to the next one.
